Global travel halted at the start of 2020, and the Qatar National Tourism Council needed a way to promote solidarity and connect with the international community.
Imbued the destination with warmth and empathy by creating a series of social films crafted as love letters from the country, around the concept ‘Love from Qatar’.
The messages of hope, togetherness and renewed spirit from Qatar and its people were released under the hashtag #LoveQatar. Using existing footage, the films harnessed the fond memories of visitors and touched on the efforts the country had made to help tackle the crisis internationally.
Qatar National Tourism Council launched the global social media campaign, with a phased paid media approach across YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, with support from influencer advocates and earned media communications.
